Java and eclipse Installation with Adding java to PATH

Dear Learner,

Greetings from edureka!

Kindly download the required setup files from the link below.

Kindly follow this guide to install eclipse IDE.

Kindly unzip the Zipped folder,  openjdk-14.0.1_windows-x64_bin into a suitable location such as your c drive.

and add the path to the folder in your Environment Variables PATH.

If you refer to the screenshot below, I have unzipped the folder to the Program Files (x86) folder.

Now inside this folder you will find a folder called bin

Kindly copy the path C:\Program Files (x86)\Java\jdk-13.0.2\bin

and type "path" on your Start Menu.

and you should see the following

Click on Edit the system environment variables and

on the following window click on Environment Variables

On the following screen Double click on Path

On the following screen click on New to add the path to the bin folder that you had copied in an earlier step.

Click OK three times and it should be done.

Verify that Java is set up correctly by typing java -- version in CMD as shown below.

If you face any issues, kindly reach us and we will be glad to help.
